It's quite an honor when someone asks me to photograph their wedding. I know, from personal experience, about all of the planning, stress and attention to detail that culminates in a single day that comes and goes in what seems like an instant. Sharing in that day and capturing it so it can be remembered is, in my opinion, the best job in the world.

The big moments like the dances, the grand exit and the vows are easy to recall - but it's the small ones – the smiles, the kisses and the surprises that piece together the story of a wedding. I want to faithfully preserve the beauty and intimacy of your day so it can be cherished for generations.

As a newlywed myself, I know how fast the wedding day goes by and what it feels like weeks later when you are wondering who really came to the wedding, what your groom's face really looked like when he first saw you and if the wedding really was as gorgeous as everyone said it was. Because of this, I count it an honor and a blessing to be able to creatively record these details and emotions for other (soon-to-be) newlyweds.

I enjoy wedding photography because of the people. Instead of taking a "hands off" approach, I love interacting with a couple - especially on their wedding day. Talking with them, joking around and making them feel comfortable gives me the chance to capture the true inner person and evoke a natural, pure joy that might otherwise have been missed.
